Anywhere you want... within reason!
Unlike in England and Wales, in Scotland it's not necessary to be married in a registered venue.
I've seen ceremonies on boats, in the sea, up mountains, on the beach, on the cliffs...
There are a few rules... you can't get married on the move... on a boat for example; and you have to get married where you said on your paperwork, unless the weather's truly terrible and you need to change it (always good to let the registrar know of any backup plan).
There are some places it's best to avoid because of being so busy with visitors and other places to avoid because wedding ceremonies don't go down well with the landowner.
It's always best to book a local celebrant and photographer as we can advise on the best elopement locations!
